It might be hard to believe, but it's true. We designed this to have by far the most handles of any mattress bag on the planet because different people want different handles for different situations.

Not only that, the 12 weight-bearing handles are made of tubular double-layer webbing for extra comfort and grip - typically used for rock climbing! It really is that strong.
This goes way beyond what any other brand offers, which is why we have applied for design registration and a patent internationally.
The material is heavy-duty tarpaulin. We choose a thickness that is super strong, yet easy to handle and not too heavy for shipping to keep the price down. It won't tear like some cheaper bags.
The length and width will fit the standard size of the mattress specified. Our sizes do fit the majority of mattresses, but we request that you double-check before purchase, especially the depth/height which can vary greatly.
Whether or not it can fit your bed base or bed base and mattress combined depends on the depth of each. Again, we strongly encourage you to measure both before purchase. If you do use this to carry a bed base, it's best not to drag it.

The material itself is 100% waterproof, yes. The seams are not completely waterproof and the benefit of this is it allows the item in the bag to breathe a little so no moisture accumulates. If the mattress and bag are in heavy rain it will be best to include an additional thin bag inside to ensure complete protection. The zip will not rust.
For sure you can. This material is very durable. You might want to use a silica gel moisture absorber desiccant packet in the bag to help keep it fresh. We provide some extra care instructions with each purchase. It's all very easy and secure.
As mentioned, the material is durable and the stitching and seams are strong, so the mattress will be secure inside, keeping out bugs and insects.
Placing the mattress in the bag is no trouble at all. Even one person can do it.
For the vertical method, simply place the bag over the mattress when it's in a standing position.
For the horizontal method, you can either start by placing the bag over the mattress whilst it's still in a flat position on the bed; or you can completely open the bag on the floor with the three sides unzipped to place the mattress on top. Then just zip the bag closed.
The zip goes all around 3 sides. The reason the zip does not go along the bottom is because some people like to drag the mattress along the ground. On each bag, there are two zip pulls that meet when the bag is zipped closed.

This is a high-quality bag made with heavy-duty material and reinforced double stitching. Under normal use of carrying or dragging even the heaviest of mattresses, this bag will hold up just fine.
